ECU (1-7) @ HU (7-1)- Harding by 31 (Poor ECU gets the toughest matchup of the year in week 9)

SOSU (1-7) @ ATU (2-6)- Arkansas Tech by 3 (After the last two weeks, ATU is turning things around with another win over SOSU. It'll be another tight one though)

OBU (8-0) VS. SAU (7-1)- OBU by 14 (SAU is solid, and OBU has shown some weaknesses. Still think OBU will pull away at the end)

OKB (4-4) @ NWOSU (2-6)- OKB by 10 (Playing in Alva is always tough. OKBU offense does enough to win)

HSU (7-1) @ UAM (5-3)- Henderson by 13 (HSU offense just too good for Monticello)

SNU (2-6) @ SWOSU (2-6)- SWOSU by 3 (I will never go against my Dawgs when we play SNU, but this Bulldog team has me very, very skeptical. Will be another close one. If they don't win this one, I think SWOSU finishes the year at 2-9, which is probably the end of the new coaching experiment.

You really think they'll can him this early?

Maybe not. It's more likely they'll give him one more year. But just from some certain things I've heard, and things I know, there are not a lot of happy football alumni right now, so it could be anybody's guess. Just depends on if they put any pressure on I would think.

Love this discussion. In the GAC, where will there be some mix-ups with coaching staffs? Anyone on the hot seat? Will anyone move on or retire?

I agree, I have seen some things on social media and have friends that played with the previous coach that share those sentiments. I think he'll get one more.

Johnson is in the same boat when it comes to win/loses, but I personally think he is in very good standing with the admin, community, and alumni.

I believe in Coach Johnson and his staff! They also have the youngest team in the country and have lost four 1 score games. They played much better against OBU and HSU then they did a year ago. Had the lead on SAU for most of the game. I still stand with my comment saying that they will challenge the top tier teams next year. They will be the best Oklahoma school, and they will be able to beat UAM, SAU, Ark Tech. ECU may go 3-8 this season, and then go 7-4 or 8-3 next year. I really see it happening. They will return 11 starters on Defense and 8 on Offense.
