  • GAC Pickem Week 10

2 WEEKS LEFT!! THATS IT!! OBU & HSU obviously eyeing the BOTR as that could decide if we have co-champs, or just outright champs. However, both have to get by this week first! All games on Saturday again, so you know the drill: picks in by Saturday at noon! Who will emerge victorious as we head into Rivalry Week (which I won't be able to follow as I'll be headed to warmer weather in Florida (Disney World))

I went to UCA for my undergrad so I remember the Bears playing most of the teams in the GAC.

Between them and OBU, HU, SAU and HSU there is some really good football being played in this state. Wish some of the Razorback fans would quit banging their head against the wall and come enjoy some of these games. Especially in the stretch run and during any playoffs.

I second that emotion. What great games in the AIC between all the teams (let's include ATU and UAM in that mix too!) and travel was a breeze! I recall the UCA Bears being the team to beat most years if you wanted to move into the upper echelon of the AIC.

And second that comment on the Hogs and the ASU fans. There is great opportunity to see some fine football with HU, HSU, OBU and SAU in playoff and bowl game mode in the next month(s).

If our local TV media would give us all just a little more love they may show up better. Radio does a decent job. TV doesnt

OBU by 21 (OBU is eyeing the BOTR for sure. However, they can't get too ahead of themselves. Just look at the 21 point lead that almost disappeared against SAU. Anyways, I think they get by UAM to set up a huge BOTR next week!)

OKB by 6 (OKB is the best OK team right now, and it should continue against SWOSU. Still scratching my head on this SWOSU team)

HU by 35 (if not more. Poor poor SOSU, even SNU has more wins then SOSU!)

HSU by 10 (I sure hope for my sanity that SAU doesn't have a hangover from the OBU game, or else this could get nasty quick! Obviously I have HSU picked in this one, but I'll gladly be wrong!)

SNU by 3 (Because why not. This is one of those coin flip games for me. Its always hard picking those "lower level" games if you will, no offense to either team, but someone has to win this one! Going with the home team!)

ECU by 3 (Going out on a limb here, in hopes that it can hold my weight. Although Tech has won 3 games now, after a horrific start to the season, I'm not sure how much "momentum" is really on their side.)
