Haven't seen anything put out on the Bisons signing day. I did follow the recruiting list as they were sent out though. HU signed 38 with 34 being high school seniors and 4 transfers.

      Players are from: TX (9), CO (2), AL (6), AR (5), GA (5), TN (1), LA (4), CA (2), UT (1), OK (1) and FL (2)

      By Position: QB (4), RB (4), WR (2), OL (5), DL (6), LB (5), DB (6), K/P (1), LS (1) and ATH (4)

By Side of the Ball: Offense 17 and Defense 17 with 2 Special Teams and 4 Athletes that could fit on either side of the ball

Looks to be a really talented class full of guys that were all state all conference performers. Excited about them joining the Brotherhood and looking forward to seeing what they'll in the coming years

Coach Pobolish continues his trend of signing huge classes, with a signing class of 46 high school kids, and 11 transfers, bringing the total to 57. Jeez. 24 on offense, 32 on defense. 27 are from Texas, and 24 are from Oklahoma. Seems to be the best class they have signed since he took over, but they did sign some kids that are some real question marks too. All in all, not bad.

They needed to load up on defense, because guys have been dropping like flies for the last 3 years on that side of the ball. They are not retaining talent on defense. I hope they can right the ship there. out of the 32 on defense, I think there's about 8 of them that are real studs out of high school, and they should have very bright futures. I hope that all 32 of them will end up contributing a lot to the Dawgs in the future.

This is a make or break year for SWOSU football. We'll get the first real look at how his first recruiting class has panned out, and I'm hoping that they perform better than I expect them to. The real question mark will be at Quarterback and Offensive Line. With the current SWOSU offense, they will live or die by the quarterback play, so I hope to God that a decent play-maker shows himself in the spring, and that they can put 5 solid guys on the field to protect him.

This is the kid i'm looking forward to seeing in the black and gold. Ball player. Don't see many quarterbacks dumping kids on their heads.

Impressive videos. He looks good on the run option too. Did he make All-State at the 3A level in Georgia?

I'm excited about the lone QB signing. Look at him avoid the sack at about the 40 second mark in his highlight reel: Plus I always like tall QB's

Looks like he can fit the ball into some tight windows, and knows all about pocket presence!

Ouachita signs 32. 17 from Arkansas.

I may be most excited about Gabe Huskey at RB. His HS stats are crazy.

He amassed 5,644 yards on 683 carries for an average of 8.3 ypc. Huskey had 100 plus yards in 31 of his 36 career games played. Huskey's 91 rushing TD's is tied for the most All-Time in Arkansas HS history. He has 103 Career Total TD's.

Also signed Kendall Givens. He rushed for a pedestrian 4,036 yards, 71 TD's, and averaged 11.4 yards per carry in his career.

All that to say...Ouachita is reloading at RB!!

I am pretty excited as well. Seems like we have success with getting some good players out of Texas.
