What makes the GAC great?

What makes the GAC better than other conferences? For me I would say just the level of competition overall is very well balanced among the schools, and driving distances for away games aren't too bad.

I agree . The schools are all competitive in one sport or another. the schools are all of about equal sizes and most are in small cities that have unique characteristics. the SAU to NWOSU is a haul but the rest are manageable. I think it was a good move for the member schools.


There is the unequal nature of the football being dominated by four ark schools. But they came in stronger. The GSC was better to them than the LSC was to the OK schools. imo
