      I can think of a few ways that NIL can help players. First, the players that deserve a scholarship raise but the program has already allocated the funds to other players- they could workout a deal with a donor to pay them whatever they want to do a BS deal so that the player is on a full scholarship. Second, a player that is dealing with a lot back home could have the same BS deal that pays them to continue playing instead of going home to get a job. If coaches are smart, they will figure out ways to increase the amount of scholarships they are allotted by just using private money to achieve the same goal.
