Playoff System

While this is a commissioner that’s outside our conference, he makes some really great points. I think a FCS playoff model for football would be the best solution to restructure the playoff system. What do other people think?

The seeding of the top 8 teams nationwide would eliminate some of the mismatches we’ve seen in the playoffs the last few years. The restructuring of regions is going to happen anyway. D2 is now an east coast to Rocky Mtns division of the NCAA. More and more I think this about budget. If the D2 football committee wants it, they’re going to have to figure out how to pay for it. I think that means the schools will need to pay more.
