Tech paid for that billboard as a recruiting tool promoting Tech to high school students.

Congrats not only to Harding, but the GAC as well.

Not every team would stay committed to this type of football. Will this unselfish style of play make a comeback in today's world? Doubtful but it should as it's a thing of beauty. Especially at this level and below.
Congratulations to the Bisons who make the difficult look easy and simple, which is not easy to do. Watching the Bisons run their offense reminds me of Roger Federer who makes tennis look so easy, graceful and effortless, which everyday amateurs prove that it is not that at all.

I agree with everything Gorilla John pointed out in his comment and look forward to seeing how teams deal with the disciplined, efficient and defending champion Bisons next year.

Congrats Harding! Just got an email from another UNA fan that HU has informed the ASUN they are interested in joining. That would put the Bisons back in a conference with Central Arkansas and UNA. Any fans hearing anything?
          Go GSC and Roar LIONS!!

I’ll believe it when I see it.

I have heard absolutely zero whispers about this.

Could be nothing to it but wanted to mention it to y’all before things slow down on here for the holidays. The only whispers I’ve heard most recently until today was that two existing FCS schools might be joining (Charleston Southern and Gardner Webb). I do know UCA wants/needs a closer conference foe, though. I’m sure they’d welcome any interest from Arkansas schools.

I always hoped we could have played UCA. But no team in their right mind is going to play down a division and play against the flexbone. Too high of a chance for injuries and secondarily for being embarrassed.

I hope Harding doesn’t jump to FCS, we need y’all to keep us competitive. Can’t rely on just the Reddies to get us playoff ready

Eh, SAU might step up. It would be good to see a 4th playoff team from the GAC in the near future regardless. But I really doubt there's any real talk about moving to FCS at Harding.

Although, I had heard that back in the 90s or so, there was talk of creating a southern equivalent to the Ivy League with Harding and Rice considered for membership.

I love this. Like fine chocolate with multiple layers of richness the longer you enjoy each bite.

Hah! Neither did mines. Was just texting a buddy that wrestled there and he said the football team is extremely nice. I talk a of crap but that culture is awesome.

If I had to pick a school most likely to move up to FCS from the GAC, I would honestly have to say Harding. Especially if they stack multiple deep runs/natties together. Going up to FCS is a campus-wide process though and many things go into moving up.
