A non-conference requirement is a win for everyone.

At its June meeting, the Championships Committee officially recommended the non-conference requirement. I'm unsure of who else needs to approve it, since this is phrased as just a recommendation.

Unless I'm misremembering NCAA procedures, the proposal would be presented to the D2 Management Council, which would have to approve or reject the proposal.

The recommendation is for just one OOC game, I hope the GAC does two OOC games. Looks like this is the last season of the silo scheduling and it's time for the conference to start putting a proper schedule rotation and all the ADs to get busy scheduling the OOC games for 2027.

One game is a start! But yes, I would love at least two in the future.
