  • Wayne State Warriors vs. Walsh Cavaliers

Another new season and new hopes for the Warriors to get back into national prominence. Gotta start with a big win at home under the lights and a probable big crowd tonight against a newer GLIAC foe. Backfield has two great running backs with Stinson and Nicholas and a senior QB in Zazula... a lot of O linemen returning (WSU's usual strength) so this could be a great offensive night for the Warriors. If the D has some teeth, we could be in for a very good year; a nice rebound from last year's losing record.

We'll have a better handle on how good(or bad) this team is after game 3. BTW I heard Kupp was gonna start against Walsh, not Zazula.

Kupp will be starting but both Zezula and Amrhein may be playing also. Winters said that last night on his radio show.

Jeff Reardon will be tossing and turning this week.
