Hillsdale @ Northwood - Northwood still looking for that first win on the season but they have been competitive in most of their games so far. Tough to get a read on Hillsdale but this might be one of Otter's weakest teams in recent years. Outside of NMU this is probably Northwood's best chance to win a game this season. I think that this will be a close game but Hillsdale gets the close win on the road. Dale by 6.

Northern Mich @ Michigan Tech - Gotta love the miner's cup. Tech is comming off a bye after a very good effort vs GVSU. Crazy things seem to happen in the miner's cup but I don't think that NMU has the team to make this one a close game. The NMU downward spiral continues. Tech by 20.

Davenport @ Ashland - Davenport appears to again have one of the better defenses in the leauge this year but the same cannot be said for their offense. At this point its hard to say that Davenport doesn't have the worst offense in the leauge. Ashland needs to avoid the let down after a wild win last week but their defense is too solid for Davenport to be able to move the ball. Ashland by 17.

Ferris St. @ Wayne State - Wayne has made quite the turn around after the 0-2 start and are playing some pretty good ball right now, but unfortionatly Ferris is up next on the scheudle. The carousal (with whatever is going on behind scenes) at QB for Ferris seems to be having little to no effect on how they are playing. Ferris is starting to get in a groove and won't have much of a challenge untill week 9 vs GVSU. Wayne can't score enough to keep up in this one. Ferris by 27.

Saginaw Valley @ Grand Valley St - GVSU is going to have to good job getting over the tough lost last week. SVSU seems to always play fantastic defense against the Lakers. The Laker O vs Cardnial D is deffinantly the one to watch in this one. I think that this one is going to be a low scoring affair. GVSU is still the more talented team in this one and I believe that they bounce back in this one. GVSU by 13.

Hillsdale @ Northwood- Northwood continues to struggle. Hillsdale is too much for the wolves to handle. Hills by 10

Northern Mich @ Michigan Tech- The Huskies expect to win this game, and NMU has embraced failure against their cross state rivals. MTU looked too good against GVSU to lose at home. There is no hope for the cats. With both coaches on the hot seat, this is a make or break game. Huskies by 20

Davenport @ Ashland - Ashland continues to roll. Panthers learn their place in the GLIAC again. Eagles by 14
