Northwood @ Davenport - Though one to pick here. Wood riding the momentum of their first win of the season and DU has really struggled in conf play. I still do believe that DU has a good defense but really outside of 1 conf game their offense has been really bad. It also would appear to me at least that DU has lost a lot of its fight being that they expected a better season but DU is the more talented team IMO. Wood by 7

Ashland @ Findlay - I've only watched two Findlay games this season so I don't have a great read on them. Especially since they looked pretty good in one and average at best in the other. Ashland has also had a good steak of a good running game on offense. Also gotta go with the GLIAC, espically against former conf members. AU by 10

Grand Valley St. @ Ferris State - This whole season until this week I was for sure thinking that Ferris would take this matchup again. There are two reasons that I believe my mind has changed, the first is that my gut feeling has swung for some reason, not sure why. The second is the news (if it can be trusted) that Campbell is doubtful. I am not saying that the Ferris offense isn't still crazy good without him but I'm leaning on history in this matchup. Physical running at QB has what has had success versus GV (Vanderlann 4 reg season games, Birmingham, and Campbell) and they have lost to GV when they haven't (Bell, JVL in PO game). I don't think Russel is a physical enough of a runner and I don't think at this point Cummings is good enough to beat GV. The GVSU passing game just might be finally coming along (I guess we will find out). Kotopka defiantly needs to avoid the bad INTs. This game will end up coming down the DB/WR matchup on both sides. Both teams will play mostly some form of man to man so it will be mono v mono. Also keep an eye on the kicking game. I think GVSU just sneaks one out and the end. Q1 - GV 14, FS 7, Half - GV 21, FS 10, 3 Q - FS 24, GV - 21, Final GV - 31, FS - 27.

Michigan Tech @ Wayne St. (Mich.) - Tech has hit a rough patch at this point in the season. They seem to be losing some of their fighting edge more each week. The Tech offense without Ark is not very pretty so it will be interesting to see who plays. Wayne continues to play good football are need to win along with a GV win to stay in the conf race. Wayne by 24.

Saginaw Valley @ Northern Mich. - NMU had their only winnable conf game last week and couldn't get it done. Saginaw has the chance to finish with a couple of wins to wrap Brady year 1. SVSU will be able to move the ball with ease in the one. SV by 31
