Davenport Panthers move to 1-0 after defeating (PSAC) Gannon University (0-1) at Erie, Pa.
The Panthers used a ball hawking 3 INTs to put down the hometown boys by a score or 30-22.

Great win. I watched the entire first half and a good bit of the second, along with some other games. Gannon had two scoring drives in the first seven minutes of the game and were then shut down for the rest of the day. Gannon had the statistical edge in rushing, passing and total yards but the Davenport D made the difference with those takeaways. Three picks and a TD for Shaq Floyd. What a day for him.

I know they're playing Gannon again in a few weeks, but looks like that's it for the spring schedule?
