Do the GLIAC teams have regrets about not playing after all these other D2 conferences and schools are making it work? Man you've got to feel for those kids. Sure the GMAC have had to cancel some games but most are making it work. What was the actual reason they bowed out - no post season?

My thoughts would be no regrets. The idea of putting players into a game situation with nothing to aim for is senseless. No Championships, no league titles, and the biggest reason is that studies are showing that linemen especially, are put at higher risk of concussion when playing two seasons back to back in game type situations. In practice you can limit snaps, use Guardian caps, and overall protect the player better. Games are full contact. To play in the spring when the risk is higher for no rewards is not something that most teams will miss. Just my thoughts. And Covid is peaking again here in the Midwest.
