Don’t know what to make of this one. Certainly Ferris is really really good. Shut down our off last year. I do think this yrs off is much better with another yr together. Should be a competitive game. Certainly not going to predict a Harding victory. May come down to TO.

My head agrees with this but my gut agrees with 42-28. It's going to be a fun game.

I think Harding will be by far the best defense Ferris has gone against this year. Not sure they put up their 53 point average, but too many playmakers on the Ferris offense. I’m going Ferris 38-28.

Worried about the health of our QB. However, he is amount the toughest to put on a helmet! Hard to bet against the BISONS!

Can’t lie this is the one game this year I’ve even been slightly nervous. I don’t think Ferris is as good as last years team but they are still elite. I think Harding is improved greatly on both sides of the ball. Ferris will have to throw some wrinkles to the defensive game plan compared to last year, can’t throw the same flavor at Wheaton twice, I’m sure he’s got a novel of notes and changes to exploit what Ferris gave last year. That being said, I’d be ignorant to expect a big margin of victory. Hardings been good at not giving the ball away this year, the OL is dominant, and the skill guys are in a different level. They seemed very off from their normal selves last year versus Ferris, if they come in and do their thing there’s a good chance for them. This could be a rock fight or a shoot out.

Ahh who am I kidding, gimme the freaking BISONS baby. 35-24 Bisons. Hope Simmons’ has fundraised enough for a new banner and rings.

My two favorite offenses in football. As a football junkie, I’ve got a bit of an obsession with Ferris’s offense. I think what they do is brilliant and is truly a “modern day” version of what HU has brought back from the dead. I’ve spent an almost embarrassing amount of time watching every Ferris state cut up I run across on Twitter. And the algorithm is good. So that means I’ve seen a lot of it. A lot of respect for Ferris.

Bisons have their hands full. But I think Ferris does too. If we can just marginally win the LOS, I like our chances. But we gotta go do it. Should be fun. Congrats to Ferris on their continued success.

This will be the key to the game. Ferris didn't "do" anything special last year. On Defense, our front 4 handled your front 5, which freed up everyone else. And on offense our OL handle your front 6. It wasn't scheme, it was just dudes. To hold Harding to 193 yds total offense and then rush for 8.2 ypc, there was some business going on in those trenches.

That's probably where it will be won again. I don't think Harding can count on holding the ball and winning TOP because Ferris has dealt with that multiple times this year..only having the ball for 20 mins of a game and still putting up 50 burgers. Now if we don't take care of the ball, then all bets are off because Harding doesn't turn the ball over.

Glad this is for the Natty and not a regional playoff game this year. Hope Cole is healthy, want each team firing on all cylinders. We just got our starter back yesterday, but we play 5 people at qb so I doubt Harding even cares. One thing to note. weather is suppose to be 70 degrees in McKinney, Ferris has been practicing and playing in Siberia for the last 3 weeks. I'm sure the boys will be refreshed to get some sunlight and warm weather. We'll see if that Ferris speed gets put on full display this week.

                  Ferris 38 Harding 24

I think that Ferris can defend the pass better than Harding can...no big deal because we know that passing is a sin for Harding...but not Ferris. I also think the injury to the Harding QB might be more of a factor that we all think. Sure the kid is tough...no doubt...but you need to be at 100% in this game. I think the Ferris D is solid in tackling in space as is the Harding D. Special teams might make the difference and I think that is a split. Ferris has not really had many tough games this year other than GVSU and SVSU really. Tiffin did make them work also. Harding on the other hand has had a tough game with Pitt and NWMSU before getting SCREWED in the Semis and being sent to play Kutz, who they beat with no problem. I am taking Ferris in Tonys last game before HUGE gets him the job at Michigan. I hope more than the 1089 that were in attendance at Ferris yesterday show up to the game for Ferris. I think Harding will travel well. Good luck to both teams.

How many GVSU students have been to a home Semifinal football game in the past 10 years. Nice dig though

Last year game - your 3 returning backs that played besides in the game Keylon, Miller and Braden had 26 carries for 70 yards with a long run of 11 yards among the 3 backs and a 2.7 YPC average. Dawgs have a solid D Line - and our run Defense is a slight worse than last year but as long as they stay disciplined and good tackling I like our chances. The key to the game like I said last year is that you have to get out front of Harding - harder for the Bison's to have large chunk plays as the Dogs will load the box and take a chance one on one with Harding's receivers. Harding was down 34-0 in 3rd Quarter and only threw the ball 7 times all game. Ferris has 3 qbs that will rotate thru the game with different skill sets for a quick strike offense.

Ferris have to get close to 50% time of possession and run more plays than Harding. Play from ahead and tackle.

                          FSU 34 Harding 20

                          Go Dawgs!!!!!!!!!

My point was that Ferris better get some folks to Texas because Harding will make it a home game. Frankly I can see people skipping the Newberry game because we all knew how that was going to turn out be before it started. Its been a cake walk so far in the playoffs. I still think Ferris has the upper hand in the Natty, we will see. Travel safe and enjoy the ride.

Ferris is a bunch of jail birds. Can’t wait for Harding to expose how terrible their culture is. Ferris plays hard and then trails off, then they play hard again. If Harding does what they have always done- score on most possessions, this game is a wrap. Ferris is a paper tiger.
