I actually think we only have two games that should be pretty cut-and-dry with GV and Davenport. Every other game, I could see anything happening. Week 0 could be the difference at the top of the standings for us!

I had a tough time trying to evaluate Chicago State. They have a lot of FCS and FBS transfers in their skill positions, but their lines look small and inexperienced. So I'm curious what they'll actually be like.

Also have no idea what to expect out of NMU/MSUM. Moorhead is replacing virtually everyone on offense. But then you've got NMU with a brand new coach. So who knows.

Yikes! It's back! Couldn't come faster. So another chance to post what I don't know.

THURSDAY

Ferris State at Pittsburg State I really have to pick the ugly pups? If this was their first trip to Pitt, I might change my mind. Pitt seems to have a few major changes. The heat could be a factor. As a fan, I know I was cooked there last year. Let's see what F brings this year...

Michigan Tech at Bemidji State Tech wants to continue to deserve respect. This road game should give them a bit more... with a W. Should be a fun game.

Northem Michigan at MSU Moorhead My heart wants NMU. But a new coach and a road game. I'm moored in my position.

McKendree at Saginaw Valley Saggy has a ton of changes. I don't know much about McK. Going with the home team is about all I got.

Grand Valley at Charleston No cream puff opener for these Lakers. Let's see how their D gets tested. GV should have a much better Oline with Wooster overseeing it. As for the rest of the O? New O coordinator seems to be an up and comer. Here's a good chance for him to show us something. Let's see how this game plays out in an almost 20k capacity stadium Will there be over 5k there? Or less than 1500? Stay tuned.

Gannon at Davenport Good ol Davenport. Usually good talent, but can they put it together? Well, this year Dport didn't play at home until Oct! This year they get 3 at home to start. Dport at least repeats last year's game with Gannon.. if not even more dominant.

Roosevelt at Chicago State No clue really, but I think it's Chitown's first season. So here's D1 vs D2.. And I'm going with these Lakers? Yeah, I know they're not from Allendale.
