Week Zeros: McK at FCS Indiana State. UIndy at NAIA on steroids Marian. Upper Iowa at FCS Drake. Quincy home vs Concordia-St Paul.

Saturday: Jewell at Ft Lewis. Truman St at Washburn. Central Methodist at S&T. And our fav, Lincoln at Lincoln!

Looks like no GLVC Columnist this year. And no one running a GLVC Pick Em. Can't complain since we don't do either of those.

First 1/2 of U-Indy schedule is very difficult.

Findlay, Ashland, Truman State all good match ups. If we get through that first 1/2 unbeaten, we can get healthy for a playoff match up. Haven't followed NAIA Marian enough to know if they still reload with character issue guys like they're known for. Likely they will this year since they lost to their rival Indiana Wesleyan last season.

Drake beatable. Faux D1 like Butler etc Pioneer League. They had a good record last year but won a lot of close games. Up 10 to 0 on Quincy first half before storms ended the game. 0 to 0 first quarter I believe. Nice stadium (due to their track relays) but lots of separation seats to field due to the track set up. Great set up at Michigan Tech in the UP - and entertaining band. UIndy at Indpls will be a nice experience if late season weather cooperates.

UIndy set up a game with in-town NAIA Marian Thursday Week 0

FCS Indiana State on a Thursday Week 1 is starting out the McK season with a bang. Week 2 McK home with Hillsdale is the new Hillsdale HC dropping the UIndy series - bummer for us as that was our rivalry game. Week 3 Bye is nice placement before Week 4 at UIndy. November 8 Week # whatever that is vs OOC Northeastern State is the GLVC not able to figure out scheduling their conference yet! MIAA but only beat two Lincolns last year.

There are 9 football schools in the GLVC so every week of conference play someone has a bye…
