  • GLIAC, GMAC, GLVC Who's with me?

Who’s in agreement on convincing the GLVC to switch GLVC streaming from Hudl to FloFootball?

    1. Most of the GLVC’s out-of-conference games are vs GLIAC and GMAC teams

    2. Both the GMAC and GLIAC stream home games on FloFootball

    3. Hudl is $30/month and FloFootball only $20/month

    4. Cross-conference games so far available on FloFootball have been:
    UIndy/Findlay
    Wayne State/Findlay
    Quincy/Roosevelt
    Southwest Baptist/Roosevelt
    Upper Iowa/Michigan Tech
    Quincy/Wayne State
    Tiffin/Wayne State
    Northwood/Saginaw Valley
    Tiffin/Ferris State
    Northwood/Northern Michigan
    Ferris State/Lake Erie
    Michigan Tech/Hillsdale
    = 12 games

    5. Cross-conference games available on Hudl have only been:
    Hillsdale/McKendree
    Davenport/Truman State
    Ashland/UIndy
    Kentucky Wesleyan/William Jewell
    = 4 games

Hudl adds multiple sports like soccer and volleyball (if you’re into that), but Hudl is mainly for coaches and players while Flo is for Fans. Flo adds weekly bonus games and social media write ups, if you’re into that.

If you’re for the GLVC switching to join the GLIAC and GMAC next season on FloFootball, please reply/comment/thumbs up to show the GLVC your preference below:

Wow. And Why?? Other than they can make more money off us and keep their claim to be a "sports network" label.

Hopefully with our new AD there will be the needed changes.

Hey GLVC, Consider taking care of us fans.

On GLVC's Hudl today I could watch only four D2 games:
        Southwest Baptist vs Lincoln
        Upper Iowa vs Missouri S&T
        McKendree vs Quincy
        William Jewell vs UIndy

For $10 less on Flo today I could join the crowd and watch all these D2 games:
        Ferris State vs Roosevelt

        UVA Wise vs Anderson
        Northern Michigan vs Saginaw Valley
        Bentley vs Southern Connecticut
        Findlay vs Walsh
        Michigan Tech vs Wayne State
        Carson-Newman vs Emory & Henry
        American International vs Franklin Pierce
        Northwood vs Ohio Dominican
UT Permian Basin vs Angelo State
        Mars Hill vs Catawba
        Wingate vs Newberry
        A&M-Kingsville vs Midwestern State
        Ashland vs Kentucky Wesleyan
        Lenoir-Rhyne vs Valdosta State
        Davenport vs Grand Valley
        Lake Erie vs Thomas More
        Western N.M. vs Western Oregon
        Hillsdale vs Tiffin University

If the GLVC would just join in with the GLIAC and GMAC on FloFootball, for $10 less today I could watch in-region games full of GLVC common opponents like Michigan Tech, Ferris State, Saginaw Valley, Grand Valley, Davenport, Wayne State, Tiffin, Ashland, Findlay, Northwood, Hillsdale and teams across the country that are rated among UIndy in the Top 25 like Delta State, Angelo State, Central Washington, UT-Permian Basin, Emory & Henry plus teams I’m interested in like UV-Wise, Lenoir-Ryne, Western Oregon, Midwestern State, Eastern New Mexico, even Villanova and Rose-Hulman and more.

Instead for $10 more I only get to watch five GLVC games.

            Dear GLVC,
If you gave us FloFootball today we would be watching games we want to see like Tiffin vs Findlay, Saginaw Valley vs Michigan Tech and Ferris vs Davenport! For $10 a month less than what you charge! Please get on board with the GLIAC and GMAC.

The MIAA uses hudl, but if you purchase a whole year, it's a lot cheaper.

I did like having all the games to watch on flo. I just cancelled mine, but kept it all football season because of the amount of games I could watch.

Will you just "live stream" it via IG or something.....? Thanks.

Hudl does a decent job of selling themselves to conferences, I have no idea if it actually works out better financially for conferences on Hudl or not.

I have my two primary conference (including for other sports) both on Hudl, but also use Flo because of how much you get for the package. Hudl is terrible, worst option for the fans and it isn't even close.

GNAC used to be on Youtube, which is a lot better than both of the other services, but moved to Hudl this year because most of the conference was too lazy to put any effort in to their streams and just wanted the free money out of their student-athlete's families. I have watched significantly less GNAC this year because of it.

I kind of understand that the MIAA has been on Hudl since before there were better options for pay walls, but it's still a complete joke how much we pay for how poor the quality is.
