Kansas Shrine Bowl mostly rotates between the four DII stadiums the last 20 years or so. Prior to that it rotated between KSU, KU and Wichita. Last year it was held in El Dorado for some dumb reason (which is Butler Community College) for the first time at a non 4-year college campus. And it'll be in Dodge City in 2020, blech. It was held at Kansas State as recently as 2005 and Wichita St. in 2009.

This year it's back at Pitt St. this will be the 5th time they've hosted. Emporia has hosted 5 times, Washburn 5 times, and FHSU 4 times.

The other 11 cars in the parking lot didn't bother you?

The beautiful scenery has to be why they picked DC..... ya know with the views of nothing but feedlots and the occasional tree once every 50 miles!
