Tigers showed some weakness on offense for most of that game. Only a give away saved them from and opening day home loss. Griffs are not the same without Partridge and I think they will find he will not be that easy to replace. Tigers will regroup and handle this game pretty well. FH by a dozen and a half.

Nebraska Kearney @ Central Oklahoma

UCO looked inept on offense. That could be due to 1st game and a stout Gorilla defense. But that young QB would have me worried if I was a Broncho fan. Nice win by UNK last week but they got the worse team in the league to start. Uphill the rest of the way. UCO at home by a TD and extra point.

Northeastern State @ Central Missouri

To Bolles or not to Bolles. Doesn't matter. The NSU and MSSU game will be for the only win of the year for one of those teams. Mules have their way all game and win by 3 kicks and a hee haw. (That's 19 points btw)

Northwest Missouri @ Washburn

If WU can play any kind of defense they might make this a close game. But NW has their number and seems to take care of them easily. Outside shot WU makes a game of it but not good enough odds that they will actually win this game. NW by 18.

Pittsburg State @ Emporia State GAME OF THE WEEK

The Gorilla doesn't weigh 800 pounds just yet but he might be on his way there. Probably weighing in at 500 pounds as he adds to his stature from last year. The up start Gorillas will go into Emporia and bully the bees and take their stinger and beat them with it. Pitt State by three chest thumps and a gorilla slap. (thats 17 points)
