  • UNK at Pitt

Kearney Neb comes to Carnie Smith

UNK definitely looks much improved. I really like to watch their O work. Hopefully the Pitt D will be up to the task.

I hope this is the week the Pitt O starts clicking instead of trying out 50 new looks. The UNK D seems pretty good against the run. The Pitt D has played well, too. Something has to give or it will be a 1 hour 45 minute game that is 3-6 or something like that.

Pitt's schedule has been super soft, so this week may tell if that D is for real, and if the offense is close to getting it right.

I see depth being a factor, as UNK has not been a second half team so far.

Definitely wanting the Gorillas to take care of business the next two weeks. Be undefeated against the Bearcats. CSS will be hopping.

If it's a night game, it might be OK.

I hope so. I want Pitt and NW to be undefeated when they meet.

2 teams in between now and NW. Neither are slouches, so hopefully Pitt can TCB.

                        Re: UNK at Pitt

The UNK QB is running about 18 times a game like the energizer bunny. That's 1/3 of their running plays.

I'll be interested to see how Dreiling tries to contain him.

Any bets on whether Pitt comes out in a 3 or 4 man front?

I definitely expect a good game.
