    Re: UCM (4-5) @ Lindenwood (3-6)

UCM recovers LU's onside kick. Will win it 31-28. Remains undefeated against the Lions.

LU showed some moxy by not letting this game get out of control. But ultimately their youth, and special teams did them in. UCM's offense is deadly at times. It's hard to understand how they don't score at will when they're on.

This team seems like they're on the verge every singe game of turning the corner. Uggghhhh....

Still see a better team than I did last year, but this is frustrating. Hoping Foley improves tremendously in the offseason in kickoffs and what should be automatic FGs.

Lions have been great opponents for the Mules. Good luck in the GLVC.

Bright spot for Lions fans heading into the GLVC.

        Freshman QB Cade Brister

        312 yards passing
        3 TDs
        120 yards rushing
        1 TD

Kid is going to tear the GLVC a new one.

Mules pass rushers would whiff on my grandma.

To be fair, Cade's made a bunch of pass rusher wiff this year.

Weird deal coming into this game...the Mules were winless on the road and the Lions were winless at home (still are).

I doubt that Lions fans feel as warm and fuzzy about the series..... since the Mules are 8-0 vs the Lions. We're going to miss Sig on the MIAA board, and yes....good luck to the Lions in the GLVC.

                  None at all.

It's nice to see we're competitive now. I imagine if LU had stayed in the MIAA, we'd see that number start to even out over the years. LU is about a year or 2 off from being a very, very, very good team.

                  I'll still be creeping around.

UGGGHHh!!! Just looked at the box score. First time we've ever out gained UCM in total yards.

                    504 to 468.

I wanted this win so freaking bad. More so for the 4 and 5 year seniors on our team; some who actually chose LU over UCM. Dammit.

I guess our big games now will either be Truman or McKendree. If we perform like most expect us to, I would guess we'll build a decent rivalry with Indy right away too.

If Lindenwood has their sights on anything less than Indy they are shooting too low. Anything less than 9-2 type results next year would be a disappointing season from them imo.
