It's almost easier to get to Denver than KC from Hays. Direct flight, an hour of time cost $100. Not a bad recruiting trip to make for Coach Vigil. What's moved the needle yhough is Al McCray connections in Florida, Hays has like 15 kids from there and another 8 from Texas.

Is flying really worth saving that one extra hour of drive time?

All those kids from Denver and Colorado Springs just thinking to themselves, "I really want to move 5 hours east into the middle of nowhere for college." I don't dispute that FHSU will keep staying where they are and will have some years where they jump up and get better, I just don't think a Colorado pipeline will have anything to do with it at all.

Even if not, I assume most kids want a shot at the highest level possible if finances are pretty equal.
