A major part of the veer is inviting teams to stuff it and then beating them over the top because they've put 7 guys on the LOS and the other 4 guys can't guard the WR in space or the TE that slips out.

I'm anxious to see them play a defense like NW or MW for this reason. There are some defenses with enough dudes to slow down a run game with only 6 in the box. Will be curious to see if Beck just cuts the veer loose and takes the leash off of Sexton in a game like that. I really think Sexton looks like a QB who will eventually be too good for a timeshare. I was absolutely blown away after seeing him up close last Saturday.

Lorenzo West is #GOOD so I really want to see him get a chance to be a focal point for four quarters at some point this year.
