Episode 16 is live! No discussion topic this week, so instead we did an extended mailbag session with a couple of messages that I didn't get to from weeks past.

That's the link to the episode. I accidentally shared the show's homepage in the last post.

In episode 17, we look at the playoff picture around SR3 and tell you who to cheer against for the most MIAA teams to get in.

This week on the podcast, I am joined by St. Joseph News-Press Sports Director Brandon Zenner to talk about Missouri Western/Northwest Missouri State in the Regional Rankings and also a huge D2 basketball event in St. Joe this weekend.

I talked with the man who runs this site, Brandon Misener, about the D2 playoff picture in this week's podcast... Also showed some love to a few basketball programs who had good showings in the first week of the hoop season.

This week, I let Lindenwood have it.... I don't think they like me in St. Charles anymore.

I mentioned in that podcast that I'm going to be with family for Thanksgiving this week so there won't be an episode until first week of December

I don't disagree with most of it, but think you were unfair when speaking about Brister, You went on about how he struggled last season, and intimated that he wasn't very good in the MIAA. He ran for 800 and threw for 2400, and was expected by most to become a top MIAA QB sooner than later. He was a freshman last season, and almost everyone was really impressed with him from MIAA coaches on down to us lowly MB posters.

I pointed that out on twitter and he acknowledged that he remembered incorrectly.

As for the other stuff including the institutional motives for moving conferences. I'm done discussing it with folks that think they know what's going on. Regardless, I think that LU showed last week that the apparent improvement wasn't exclusively due to a weakened schedule.

This week will be more telling than last.
