The Blue Tigers finished with 72 yards passing today. For the season, they are averaging 66 yards passing per game (THAT'S NOT A TYPO). Despite this, first-year starter Hosea Franklin went for 128 yards tonight and is leading the MIAA in rushing (142.5 ypg)... If I were coaching defense against the Blue Tigers, I would leave my safeties at home.
The fact that Franklin is even remotely productive despite the fact that every single week, defenses know he is the one and only part of the Lincoln offense they have to worry about is nothing short of miraculous. BUT, since the Blue Tigers may go 0-11 (Northeastern State looked competent on offense today) he will not get any recognition.
