Central Missouri @ Nebraska Kearney--The Speed Goats are for real. They are big, tuff and they got all that clean, clear half-mile high oxygen in their strong lungs. The Antelopes got a late start this year but next year do watch out. They will be title contenders and PO Bound. At times the Missourii Mules are great; unfortunately, it would be nice if they could just manage to be consistently GOOD and not just sometimes great. They cannot. Psychologically, there is just something missing from this talented team. A slow Ass half and a furious finish this weekend translates into "L #1". UNK 44 UCM 43.

Missouri Southern @ Central Oklahoma--The Talequaw Chainsaw Massacre Saturday was the work of one really pissed-off coach and one very blood-thirsty team. The Crazy Horses will not get the chainsaw treatment this week but they will get a lashing on their backsides from a horse-whip. MSSU 27 UCO 25


Missouri Western @ Pittsburg State--Hope Mumblin' Jim and Tiny Tim enjoy the empty seats Saturday that they had such a great hand in emptying this year. Give an unthinking AD and a clueless coach a few years to work with and they will do a pretty good job of wrecking what was once, by far, the premiere D-2 football program in the US. It will take decades to rebuild what these two buffoons have destroyed. Thugs 38 Chimps 27.
