I have to think NWMSU would get in ahead of MWSU and FHSU in that scenario, being the only one with a win over UCM.

I think that would also depend on what happens with GVSU and the Battle of the Ravine. Realistically, we could be ourselves up enough to only get one team in. It probably will nto happen, but it could.

The last 2 weeks is gonna be real interesting. The GAC could finish with three 10-1 teams. That could have major implications on final regional seeds if that were to happen. The MIAA is staring down the barrel of having only 1 team.

But FHSU would have the head-to-head over NW.

It'd be a 3-way tie among NW, MoWest, and FHSU, each 1-1 against the other two. They'd of course all have the same SOS too. I think NW being the only one with a win over UCM might be the deciding factor.

              Fair enough.

Talk always comes up about when the loses occurred - FHSU would have had the loses happen at the beginning of the year in weeks 1 and 2. MW would be in a similar situation with NW being the team with very recent loses in the last couple weeks.

When losses occur has zero effect on RR. The only way FH gets in is if they beat NW and MW loses to Kearney. NW wins v. FH, NW is in.

I don't see 3 10-1 GAC teams getting in without a 2nd place conference team having 3 losses. How you differentiate should they all have 1 loss v. each other after a Silo schedule? Good luck with that. Numerically all 3 will be in front of a 2 loss MIAA team though as all teams in both conferences have a .500 SOS.

Should 3 10-1 GAC teams get in and leave the MIAA with 1 rep., well you all are going to get your wish. Noncons will start as soon as possible for the conference. They have already been discussing. Just need a valid reason to go forward. Though there is no guarantee that a potential SOS boost in the future would be able to offset the extra loss.

But what if NW loses to UCM and has 2 loses and 3 GAC teams are 10-1? NW still in? Just curious as if roles were reversed and UCM had two loses EVERYONE but UCM fans would say they are out.

*I had posted something but it was irrelevant.*

Why would UCM be out with two losses if you switched out the team names?

These are the likely results with the UCM/NW results as you described (region records):

                      Ferris 10-0
                      Central 11-0
                      Ouachita 10-1
                      Harding 10-1
                      Henderson 10-1
                      Indianapolis 9-1
                      Grand Valley 7-2
                      Northwest 9-2
                      Western 9-2

Responding to Tax's statement that if NW beats Hays they are in. I contend that they have to win out to ensure themselves a playoff spot.

                          Well his argument has validity.

If you look at that list, these teams would be in for sure over NW (no particular order):

                          1. Ferris 2. Central 3. Ouachita 4. Harding 5. Henderson 6. Indianapolis

So it's down to three teams for the last spot...

                          GVSU/NW/Western

Which means that it would be down to GV/NW for the last spot because NW would have the H2H over Western.

It would be awesome if the MIAA and GAC only got 1 team each.

                                How exactly would that happen?
