What is going on at UCO

Agree 100%, not the same kids on the recruiting trail.

I think the only reason that anybody compares UCO to OU and OSU is geography. Edmond is right in the middle of Norman and Stillwater. Most UCO students both when I was there, and now seem to wear more crimson and orange than bronze and blue. I don't know if that is typical or not for any other MIAA, or even other OK schools (although, I suspect it is.)

Also add to that fact that, UCO is typically twice the size of other MIAA schools, but has less fan support than many MIAA programs. I don't know how big of a draw KU and KSU is on the D2 Kansas schools, but except for Washburn, most also aren't 40 miles away from a flagship FBS school either.

For that reason it is easier to point to it because both big brothers are in the same neighborhood. But I 100% agree with the notion that blaming everything on OU and OSU is nonsense.
