I would like to thank Lindenwood for allowing us to set new rushing and TD records in the playoffs. We got to the edge anytime we wanted and really didn't have a need to throw the ball today. The defense continues to improve and impress. I'm hopeful the passing game will continue to do enough.

Yes, personal foul on the sack as the tackle was below the knees. I have seen the call in the NFL where they protect the QB, but never in D2. Maybe one of the posters who knows the rule book can comment?

But otherwise, it's a foul to go low on a QB who isn't running. The NCAA says: When an offensive player is in a passing posture with one or both feet on the ground, no defensive player rushing unabated shall hit him forcibly at the knee area or below.
