Everyone always thinks their enrollment numbers are larger than they actually are. Schools always quote total enrollment.

That's a good question. What is total scholarship funding. All sports coaches salaries, how many sports offered. Venues ie home field payments and upkeep. Support staffing wages. I suppose benefits such as insurance cost are also included. It would be interesting to see an actual budget.

Hays is the shocker. Their total enrollment is way higher.

I think distance/online degrees increase their numbers a lot. Then again, tuition is tuition, so it's all money in pocket and impacts the bottom line. Total enrollment should be counted.

Does NW have online degree programs?

                  https://www.niche.com/graduate-schoo...te-university/

NW has 864 grad students, 58% of those are part time. some are online.

I wonder if schools count sponsored continuing ed students, (ie the teacher workshps where if you pay extra, you get cont ed credits) people taking one class, etc. in enrollment?

                      Is that revenue after expenses?

So NW spends less than $270,000 on football? Not buying those numbers.

                          That's the operating budget.

Does not include coaches' salaries, scholarships, etc.

I think Northwest was next on the list after Emporia.

Doesn't include those things at NW, or at all listed?

For all...exactly the same depending on how they reported money.

The revenues/expenses list is the number that includes everything.
