I think they capped at five so they could get in on an abbreviated conf season if it happens.

I posted that not knowing they were planning on playing Spring games. This is great news.

To be honest I think there are going to be a few more LSC members that are going to look at that route soon following Tarleton's departure.

Coaches probably don't want the risk of playing games in spring unless they can win something (conference title)
If there's a spring conference title on the line, they don't want their teams scouted in the fall
Money games (against higher level teams)
Home games (against lower level teams)

Id take that in heartbeat drive to the quah and be happy This season a win is a win. We have a lot of young players who need game experience
