  • Pitt at NW

Pocket passer at qb and mediocre run blocking should spell disaster for the gorillas.

NW o is average to good, but when they get the ball back quickly every time, they can just wear a team out.

Will be the first game against nw for the staff. Will be interesting to see how they approach it.

I hope I'm wrong, but I see a beat down coming.

Much depends on whether our backup QB can play as the starting QB is out for several weeks due to emergency surgery.

If not, NW will need a huge game from the defense, OLine, McKeller & Green. NW has to use their 2nd string punter and may be down to their 3rd string QB handing off to 2/5.

Hopefully, it will be too cloudy for sky kicks.

if we're rolling with qb3 i would think the game can't help but be competitive unless pitt can just be run over & i have no idea about that.

the offense looked better w/ qb2 who better be qb1 moving forward when healthy but if he ain't playing i would think we would struggle to score against competent teams as we did prior to hohensee taking over. pitt isn't elite but they are at the very least competent & probably even pretty good based on results thus far. as long as the offense isn't turning it over i would imagine our defense keeps us in any game w/in the league.

if that's how it plays out whomever plays the cleaner game wins.

          NW qb1= meh, qb2=193%better

Logical progression says qb3 is better than Mahomes.

Pitt with Salamea and Horack still out. Looked like mlekus was about 70% this week.

Haven't seen a qb stay upright long enough to exploit the back end of the nw defense, but that and screens are probably Pitt's best shot. They won't be able to run 9n nw, unless they can hurt them bad enough through the air to keep them honest.

Sky kicks and 6 picks might make it close enough to not be a beat down, otherwise Nw by fitty.

                    Not sandbagging. Just unvarnished truth.

Pitt needed a special teams miracle to beat Southern who would probably be the 6th best high school team in sw mo.

Didn't we lose a starting DE against MoWest? How did his back-up look?

Yes but he may be able to play against Pitt.

in very limited action qb3 appears to be qb3.
i wouldn't say qb2's played enough to conclude he's the best qb on the roster.
i would say he's played well enough that he should be the starter until proven otherwise....or confirmed.
just my pov which is worth zilch.

i always expect pitt to be good until i see for myself that they aren't
same thing with other schools in reverse

NW usually platoons anyway, don't they?
