These guys still have a thing for the MIAA . . . 7 teams in the top 20.

Pretty sure a lot of you are already in the know of this, but for those of you who might not be familiar with the Massey Rankings ... if you look above the rankings for these 166 NCAA DII teams, you can click on "Key" and it will assist with what each of the columns represent. Next, if you click on "Games" it lists all games scheduled for this week. The next one can be a lot of fun ... when you click on "Matchup" you can enter the name of ANY two teams, even a D1 team vs a DII team, and get a predicted score.

Thanks for the rankings. Im not getting why a 2-5 team from the MIAA may be better than a team from another conference with a better record can someone enlighten me. Thanks

I think it uses the way way back machine and looks at the conference back when it was better. ;)

Massey rates the MIAA as a whole highly because of NW and Pitt's playoff performances, so Central Missouri gets a big SOS boost by playing only MIAA teams. You can see the same thing with Emporia and Delta State, who are top-15 teams despite a combined 7-9 record because they play schedules that Massey sees as some of the hardest in the country.

LU's last year in the MIAA they won 4 games and ended up ranked 25th.
this year this they're 6-2 (3-1 vs teams with winning records) and currently ranked 28th.

            Massey definitely loves the MIAA.
            Cool Story Bro

That would be a way, way, way back machine to take Pitt State playoff performance into consideration. They've only been to the playoffs once since 2011 (granted that was a national championship year) and got beat in that appearance in 2014. ESU and UCM have both made the regional final since then.

CentralMO's regional final was in 2010, a year before Pitt's last championship. The Mules have won a playoff game (2019) more recently than Pitt.

The match-up button is still fun to play with.
