Butler Lawson and Trotter also transferring from Western. The biggest surprise is Kopcho, their kicker. Would love to see him playing North 45 minutes!

I was thinking he has no remaining eligibility regardless? Donadelle did the same thing and he is out of eligibility. Pitt State had a couple do the same.

Plus, they both have their degrees, keeping graduation rate high. Another nice stat to promote the program to Juco recruits as both of these players were.

Donadelle was out of eligibility. I have seen plenty of kids doing the same thing.

I think maybe a better question or at least as pertinent is what do the ACU players do? I know when Dorrel left, a bunch went to the portal right away. If 10 left and UCO gets 5 that is potentially a huge difference in quality of athlete at UCO.

I would argue that the quality of athlete hasn't really been the problem at UCO. They have almost always "looked the part".
