  • Obligatory "How's your team gonna do" rank em' thread.

Rank em and/or give us your predictions for your team here.

My optimism says Pitt wil close the gap a little more this season and win 9 games, mainly on the backs of a good D and really good LBs.

I think the offense is still a year away, but the OL will make them decent on that side of the ball.

I'll rank em all later when I have more time.

It's not a stretch to believe that Northwest will finish off another 10-11 win season in at least a tie for the conference title, while garnering another playoff birth, but I'm still not willing to say they'll be at the level of being national championship caliber. There are things that concern me... one of those being that with Mike Hohensee and Braden Wright both back this year, early noise is suggesting to at least start the year with a two quarterback system and I've never really liked that. Probably lost our best players on both sides of the ball in McKeller and Roberts, but all teams deal with that. Hopefully the kicking game is better... just please let the kicking game be better.

                  1. NW until someone beats them
                  2. UNK i dont think they are all that good but rest of league is a mess
                  3. Pitt but barely. O has lots of questions and team needs to learn how to put other teams away
                  4. UCO I should probably look at the schedule before I put them here but I think Dorrel plus money in facilities has finally awakened the sleeping giant. I believe UCO is about to become a D2 power and there will be pressure to move up in 3-5 years.
                  5. Hays. Good coach starting to get out-athleted on more and more Saturdays.
                  6. Southern. Bradley is building something at MOSO
                  7. Washburn their uniforms are boring their play is boring so this is where vanilla gets ranked
                  8. ESU that seat could get warm if the season goes south
                  9. Western hot seat to start the season and team has regressed
                  10. Riverhawks. They are not good but play hard
                  11. UCM Lambo inherited a mess, a roster with limited talent and the last time he was in a similar situation he went 1-21
                  12. Lincoln. I like their coach, it's just an awful situation

1- NW. They're still pretty good.
2- Pitt. This is pure wishful thinking.
T3- Hays. They get healthy this year, and do well.
T3- Bods. Coach Rasputin has a decent year again.
T4- UNK. All O and no D. Maybe that changes this season?
                    T4- ESU. Same as above.
5-MoSo. Might be premature bit Bradley has the Midas touch so far.
6-MW. Talent level will be much higher than 6, but results will be all over the map.
                    7-UCO

Monkey Pox State @ #2 is a sign of delirium, or in your case, Monkey Pox. Immediately strip down and bathe in salt water and pickle juice and call your veterinarian in the morning.

Humans are as closely related to monkeys as gorillas are, so I'm not sure which species you are trying to insult here.

To be clear, it's not my fault that y'all can't get off the "Let's hire another nw alum and blame him when it goes badly while we ignore the real problems." merry go round.
