Pick'em Results after Week 07

This is actually after Week 06.

It was an historic week in the pick'em. Not because of any of the results but because the board made Northwest the underdog for the first time since week 7 of 2012, also against Pitt. Those of us that hoped to make up a game by calling Northwest to pull off the upset as they did back in 2012, instead lost another game on the field.

Pitt at 69% was the only favorite called by less than 90% and all of the favorites won the game. As a result, 25 members took honors for the week at 6-0. 1 of the 25, Predatory Primates, maintains his 3 game lead on the field.

I would like to give a shoutout to LincolnBlueTiger who is only 6 games back and to his credit has to be picking against his team each and every week. That's tough to do and I for one respect that. Thank you for your contributions to the board.

Is Predatory Primates on a record pace? 👀

No, but he's close at 91.7%. The all time best record we have had was 93.3% (42-3) back in 2007 by Ichabod Washburn. The only other member to finish above 90% was bearcat42 who finished 1 game back that year at 91.1% (41-4).

If Pred can hold onto the 3 game lead, that would be a record. We've only had 2 winners win an outright title by more than 1 game. GoCatsGo5 won by 2 games in 2016 and mowest57 by 2 games in 2014. In all other seasons we've had co-champs or solo champs with only a 1 game lead.

You didn't think you were going to run the table. Only two people went 6-0 and one of them was PSR, but you still have a two-game lead on him and the guys who were in second place.
