They called intentional grounding because the Pitt back got knocked 6yrds out of the way as the ball was being thrown and then tried to steal a down because they took the Loss of down as 2nd down goes to 4th down you get no 3rd down. The worse part is the Ferris Broadcast crew also thought that was correct
