Which MIAA team had the best chance to get a win in MI tomorrow?

Even though Pitt is traveling they should be the favorite imho.

A NW win would be much less likely than a Pitt win imho. One key for NW is for the offense to not give GV good field position. NW’s only chance is a very low scoring game.

At least neither game will be played in severe cold and snow like several past PO games in MI.

Both Michigan teams run block better than anyone in the MIAA. Both matchups will be interesting.

MIAA finishes 1-0 vs GAC, 1-0 vs GLVC & 0-2 vs GLIAC.

MIAA offenses only scored 1 offensive TD and 2 FG’s against GLIAC’s defenses.

Did Pitt’s offense shoot themselves in the foot anything like NW’s did? NW offense was 2/3 on FGs with 4 TO’s( 2 in red zone) 0 1st downs in 1st Qtr.

I think we had no answer for their monster DE, Dodson was never able to get comfortable. Our starting kicker was hurt so he didn’t make the trip. We couldn’t get anything going, really, and didn’t take advantage of the opportunities that were there.

Pitt missed 2 fg's, and banked in an extra point. That Ferris DE just owned Pitt all day. Dude was everywhere like some kind of giant angry ninja. Pitt could do nothing offensively outside one drive where they drove the field mostly on the ground. The other TD was a pick 6 by the Pitt safety. Pitt also blocked a FG. Had several short fields and got absolutely stoned by the Ferris defense every time.

Defense played well after the first quarter.

the silo hurt both teams

The biggest reason the silo hurts is that ferris got a home game with one loss over a Pitts state team that's undefeated. Pitt wins that game at the Jungle. We added the silo because the nsic went silo then after we did so did GAC. Since then the regions switched and we dropped nsic for gliac. We are now at a disadvantage because of silo . It's simple
