It was pretty much common knowledge around the ‘ville even before the ‘16 title game that Adam was leaving and I’m sure he’d already told the players. IF he’s leaving UCO after this season(regardless of where he might land) I wonder if the same will hold true there.

I got it from a pretty good source that the Board of Regents at NW has called an emergency meeting with the topic being Football leadership. So stuff is in the works and we should have a resolution in a few weeks.

Apparently their definition of emergency and mine are two very different things? I know there a lot of Amish up there is Hezekiah on Rumspringr or something? In a few weeks more coaches will be fired and hired. Unless as PP said it will truly be a nationwide search and there are committes and consultants involved NW needs to act now or within 24 hours of UCO being eliminated. Failure to do so and not bring Dorrel home could seriously impact the recruiting and portal class.

OG poster is back babee ... Rich Wright should have been fired 3 days ago ... If Rich Wright is the head football coach at my alma mater next year, I will begin calling for the immediate dismissal of "Dr." Andy Peterson.

Ok here goes probably an unpopular opinion. Why would AD come back? Also be careful what you wish for. As a big UCM basketball fan. A great coach went to MU for greener pastures as he should have. He didn't win a lot of games but cleaned up a troubled program. Then he went back to D2 and was not successful at a different program. NW needs to start over. New blood is needed. They are currently the 3rd or 4th best program in conference no guarantees AD will get them back to #1. UCM basketball has not recovered and we are still a year or two away with the current coach

Who really knows what AD is capable of. Sure, UCO is back in the playoffs and conference champs this year, can he sustain. I think he can, but his first few years weren't anything to write home about, but they have gotten better since 2021, just haven't been able to be consistent.
