How much money does NW have to replace Rich Wright? Seems to this casual observer, that it is going to take some "cash" to either lure Ad back or pluck the entire Mules staff since the majority of them have ties to NW. Is Johnny Mac a possible contender? IMO, NW better make the correct decision or they will turn in Nebraska. The Huskers haven't been relevant since they fired Frank Solich, If my memory is correct, Solich was axed after a 10 win season.

I was referring to this about a week ago with "What is Institutional Commitment to Winning?" Obviously, AD is not making things happen in Edmond, but if he can make things happen in Northwest Missouri, then NW has a secret to Institutional Commitment to Winning. Again, I'm new to D2 so pardon my lack of historical knowledge.

i have no inside info but i find it hard to believe any d2 school has the $ to buy out a contract. i doubt its conveniently up this yr but frankly idk. it was a 5yr deal in 2017 and has obv been extended minimally once. i anticipate that rich will be back and that he will make staff changes this offseason that will amount to his last chance to turn it around during the remaining time on his current deal. he better find someone that can recruit & run an offense bc he ain’t doing it. & the reality is all ain’t well with the defense either as evidenced by the train the mules ran on us yday.

Lol. Those fans on FB are rubes then. Any hopes of NW sneaking into the playoffs after their first two loses officially died yesterday in Warrensburg. Northwest Missouri State is correct in saying that NW will likely not have any kind of postseason game this season. If they win out, which looks nearly impossible, they could maybe sneak into a bowl game. Not even sure the Mineral Water Bowl exists anymore. There are either one or two bowls at this point that MIAA teams are eligible for unless there is a new one this season that I haven’t heard of. Basketball season started in Maryville yesterday I’d say.
