And shouldn't only be recruiting seniors, but sophomores and juniors too. I have already seen where MOSO women's basketball has offered two sophomores and two juniors.Originally posted by Predatory Primates View Post
Yeah that's good news for you guys. Teams don't have recruiting windows anymore. It's a year round deal.

He obviously knew he would have time and availability after November 11th.Originally posted by libertybearcat View Post
Sure seems like I've seen many more guys announcing their offers from NW on X this year and several more commitments than I have at any time this early. Sturdy even told us at Lions Club they've changed their recruiting this year and doing a lot more earlier.

This comparison will move the needle for absolutely no one... lol Mel built this program from a perennial bottom feeder. He deserves a lot of leeway. He had 5 years between NC appearances, RW is in year 7 and has never been after taking over a juggernaut of a program. I don't think it's Rich's fault that he started without a quarterback, but even you can see that this team has had a slow decay year over year on the offensive side of the ball. You could always hang your RW support hat on how great the defense was, but there has been a noticeable drop-off on that side of the ball this season as well. I'm not one that thinks he "deserves" to be fired, or that he even should be, but acting like these discussions are immoral is absurd. His seat should be HOT, and shifting blame away from himself in interviews is not a good look. This is year 7 and this program is not getting better from year 1, so the talk is valid. There's nothing wrong with questioning the recruiting strategies, the assistant coaches, etc., because I got news for you... the head coach is responsible for all of that.Originally posted by Bearcat06 View PostRW
