Why are there coaches wasting their time on a message board, to read fans's gripes. They should probably be focusing on the next opponent, not what fans are saying on their keyboards.

Yet there were still people calling for him to be fired at the time. Seemed dumb to me then. Say Wright gets fired for missing the playoffs this year. You fire your coach for missing the playoffs once?! That's an awesome atmosphere for potential candidates. I Don't disagree there are issues and troubling patterns, but I also don't believe that NW is some d2 mecca that great coaches are just dying to come to.

exactly. these are the equivalent to all of those people after national championship losses for OU to scream on the internet "FIRE STOOPS' ASS"

be careful what you wish for...OU has done it twice and paid dearly. fired barry switzer and ended up with gibbs. fired gibbs and got Howard Schellenberger and eventually boo blake. finally got stoops after 10+ years of below mediocrity.

i think the question needs to be to this coaching staff...
why do you guys have a team that seems to SH*T its pants in every close game?
last 3 losses (i didn't put pitt in there. they had a flawless game turnover wise) have seen 12 ints and 4 fumbles lost. it doesn't matter what team you are; you're going to lose a majority of those.
