Flustered and frustrated 3 QBs. Are we to believe that a Dynasty like NW only has one QB competent enough to play ball. No way they weren’t prepared. Either of those backups mixed with the run game would have carved up a lesser D. But you can’t tell them nothing.

NW offense has always been gimmicky, and relied on explosive plays.. take that away and make them sustain drives and if you tackle well, they typically struggle.. that’s good game planning on ESUs part.. especially when you have a Secondary unit like ESU this year. So yes, NW “won on the stat sheet” bc they were on the field for 20 out of 30 minutes the 1st half, but they got their teeth kicked in. 13 points is all those yards could get them. Says more good things about ESU defense than it does negative. I get it, you don’t wanna believe it yet. Completely fair, still a lot to prove with the season being so young.

He has his moments, he’s normally pretty good with legs when under duress, but he’s proven to be fragile. His pick 6 last night had nothing to do with pressure… 1st read quick out that was covered well and shouldn’t have been thrown. Came back out, marched down the field and took the lead, but got hurt somewhere on that drive and didn’t play the rest of the night.

I thought Hohensee carried the team in that 2nd half against Southern.

I think RW is closer to Broyles than Beck. Still getting it done at a high level, and will probably field a true contender a time or 2 per decade.
