Unless all injuries are healed, we're not going to win at Hays. Hope I'm wrong, but the QB room is burning right now.
I like RW as a person and he is a great DC, but I have questioned his role as the head coach even after the 2017 season. I have had season tickets for over twenty years and never miss a game, but the gradual decline in the program and especially on offense has been eye opening.

Sturdy needs to quit passing inside the 10 after moving the ball down the field on the ground

RW needs a good combo OC/Assoc head coach to give him more time to work on the defense and Sturdy is NOT up to the task(of OC). Rich may be an example of being promoted 1 time too many. Great DC/average HC

You fire your coach for missing the playoffs once?! That's an awesome atmosphere for potential candidates. I Don't disagree there are issues and troubling patterns, but I also don't believe that NW is some d2 mecca that great coaches are just dying to come to.
+1 great coaches are hard to find. That’s why they are considered great coaches.

Sounds like a recipe to change coaches every two years.

Tap the brake Bearcat fans! It’s just one game against a team that’s been consistently improving. Anyone who watched playoffs last year knows that NW was one of top 4 teams in the country. Even if they slip to # 2 in the MIAA this year, they’ll still be one of best 8-10 teams in D2. A Coach like RW deserves a chance to “Wright” the ship.

I read multiple post as some that said, wait who else are you going to get when referring to Beck. 10 seasons later and we were drained of talent and running the veer. It doesn’t take years and years to see how a program is going to be under someone. Beck was a great OC and not so good HC.

Case in point. Coach Brian Wright had us heading in the right direction right away. In just his 3rd full year the Gorillas look and play like a completely different football team.

I hope the Bearcats keep status quo.
