Lots of interesting connections in this game vs last 2 undefeated MIAA teams.

Yep, should be a great game, I'm surprised there isn't more talk about it considering it's the battle for 1st in the MIAA. I could see it going either way and would definitely favor Northwest if it was in Maryville, but think it's a bit of a toss up game in the Burg. They've been averaging about 7,500 fans so far and I would expect that number to rise quite a bit with the Bearcats coming to town and the magnitude of the game. Going to be a great atmosphere!Last edited by Mule Dad; 10-06-2025, 09:15 AM.

I agree if NW is at home I feel good they win. On the road though...... I'll begrudgingly pick UCMOriginally posted by Mule Dad View PostYep, should be a great game, I'm surprised there isn't more talk about it considering it's the battle for 1st in the MIAA. Not sure the QB situation is all that figured out. Omolo (RF) was the QB in the loss to Delta State and started against CSU-Pueblo before getting pulled for senior Jordan Pachot who rallied the offense and came within a yard of pulling out the win. Pachot started the next week and got the win at MoWest. He was the conference co-offensive player of the week with 400 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. He was dealing with an injury and didn't play the next week at MSU. Omolo got the start in the 62-10 beatdown of MoSouth (big deal). Omolo got the start at UCO and did some good things, but still only completed half of his passes. What's the latest on Pachot's injury? Hope he's back soon.Originally posted by Mule4ever View PostI gave Lambo a hard time earlier this year. I think the QB situation is figured out and I'm back on the Mule train. LOL

I didn't think they did a great job of adjusting the O to fit Omolo until the UCO game.Originally posted by MuleBall View PostPending injury, I think Omolo is the guy going forward from my understanding.
He has a bright future at UCM and what he accomplished at QB this past weekend was remarkable: Throwing, running and catching TDs!

I'm really torn on this one. There is too much inbreeding between these 2 teams. No matter who wins, they'll all end up at dinner together afterward and several genetically questionable pregnancies will result.
They each have 1 quality win against UCO, even though they sort of played different versions of that team. UCM squeaked by a mostly whole UCO. NW beat them while the chos 2 biggest offensive weapons were in street clothes, but beat the crap out of them.
UCM is in playoff mode already. NW has a game to give before that point.

NW has also been affected by QB injuries. It’s been said that Mason Shorb was slated to start had he not been injured before the season started. Has he been redshirted? He was suited up vs UCO
