  • UCM at WU

UCM playing terrible 2 fumbles by running backs 3 interceptions 2 caused by their receivers down 3 scores in the 3rd quarter

6 INT's is crazy. Omolo is completing more than 50% of his passes. 30/32 if you count DB's as completions.

Was a fun game to watch. Crazy amount of turnovers.

What an embarrassment. The question now is if they fold or find some way to make it to 6 wins.

I'm not sure there is a QB on the roster ready to lead this team the rest of the season.

Honestly, losing both Jack and Hogan has absolutely destroyed this offense. Not an excuse but the WRs out there now are all just guys and not playmakers. Those two injured WRs were the playmakers for this offense, each typically catching 10 balls a game. Without them, the offense just doesn't function.

Defense actually looked pretty good today but had to keep defending short fields that made it extremely difficult to prevent scores.

I think they'll compete with ESU and Kearney, get destroyed by Pitt, and make a game of it at Hays as along as they control turnovers.

I keep thinking Omolo is "going to be the guy". And he may be. But getting tougher to visualize that during each game.

Jack and Hogan are nails and their grit not being out there hurts the Mules O.

Really happy for our guys to get this one. Pretty obvious that we’ve found our QB and there’s no reason to keep flipping between guys anymore. Just ride the freshman.

Hard to believe our turnover luck. I’m not complaining but 8 takeaways while we recovered our only fumble and UCM dropped a pick is pretty fortunate. First two INTs were lucky bounces, but the next 4 looked harder to stomach for the Mules.

Watching Central a couple weeks ago v NW, I was immediately shocked at how poor the Central QB was. Like if the worst parts of Jalen Hurts and Russell Wilson and Zac Dickey made a left handed love child. Not at all surprised by the turnovers. Seems like Central had always had a flat dude at QB since Mel invented FB.

So ZZ was a two time Harlon Hill winner who got his start in the first game after the starter was injured. The rest is history was arguably the best QB in UCM history yet didn't play until the starter was injured in the first game. Lambo did nothing at UNK the joined Dorrel at ACU. Without ZZ what would his head coaching record be?. Yet we gave him a contract extension. Who earned it Lambo or ZZ who is in the CFL on a practice squad. Lambo should be on a short leash next year unless you are happy with 6-7 wins a year.

This one reminded me of the year a pretty bad Pitt team turned NW over 6 or 7 times and won by a few points.

I think that was the game that ended NWMSU win streak. We were the last and first team to beat them in like 3 years or something.
