I remember that game. We had AD's nephew in the suite at NW that day and I had him text him asking him if he was coaching a football team or basketball. :)Originally posted by RollChos View Post
I don’t think UCO is scared, but I would say the respect has to be there after last year’s track meet. It will certainly not be the **** show it has been for the last decade.

I'm not sure what nsu is going to do. The adding of all the additional sports is throwing off my mindset on what the future holds. We may join the gac with tamu-t Texarkana we may go back to Miaa but we are also in a position to join the glvc. The travel isn't much more than the MIAA. Besides pitt and moso.
We have a relatively new University president who is from Michigan so there's no telling what he will do.
It's been a Good Year. We lost to s&T in the last second by 3:00. We kept that West Florida game closed to the last 2-3 minutes. We didn't even get totally blown out by North Alabama. It's a nice place to be four and three going into your last four games.
We scared the crap out of UCo. I don't know if we'll do that a second time in a row. But it's going to be a good game.
We have six games already scheduled for next year.

The biggest problem with going to nsu all the cool distinctly Tahlequah restaurants are on the other side of town from the stadium.Originally posted by northwest missouri state View Posttahlequah was nice enough both times i went but i like small towns
‘that said i can’t fathom a school i’ve ever cared about less - maybe the rodgers rockets or whatever they are called
we (miaa) do dumb things. never say never
Tahlequah in the fall is a unique experience. It is the border between the Ozarks and the neosho River valley and the Osage plains beyond that so it has distinct colors pallet of trees.

Tahlequah is great, other than it is in the BFE. I think D2 is better when NSU is good. I’m always pulling for you all in every game except against UCO. It’s actually crazy to me how many D1 transfers are on the roster. Did some big donor just infuse a ton of NIL money?Originally posted by the Northeasterner View PostThe biggest problem with going to nsu all the cool distinctly Tahlequah restaurants are on the other side of town from the stadium.

Yeah but your HC convinced these dudes to come to school in the middle of ****ing nowhere to play in a stadium that looks worse than most HS. In a program that has been 1-10 or 0-11 for basically a decade until last year.Originally posted by the Northeasterner View PostNot sure but there are thousands of people in transfer portal not all of them get to go D1 and most don't get to go back to other schoo. Got to end up somewhere.
Correction: You all won 2 in 2021 and 3 in 2015. Still, this dude has to be D2 Coach of the Year.Last edited by RollChos; 10-25-2025, 05:33 AM.Roll Chos!
