Yeah, that one stings. Early on I thought he was going to transfer then he waited so long it looked like he was staying. He had plenty of issues but as a redshirt freshman was ready to lead this team for the next couple of years. Let's hope JP comes back for one more season if he gets a medical redshirt. And, they will have to add 1 or 2 transfers as well with the roster only having a couple of freshman left.

He just picked up Central Arkansas this morning. There will be plenty more.

Based on what i saw this past season, I don't think Omolo will have much success above D2. The Mules running game left much to be desired, so that didn't help the QB, but DO seemed very hesitant on throws and runs, IMO.

He has the arm and the athletic ability to do well in the right O. Jmo, though?

It looks like the smaller schools are becoming feeders for he bigger D1 schools. Good for the athlete but makes D2 schools scramble to assemble rosters every year

Doesn't Central have the most QB friendly offense in the league and one of the best in the nation? History says yes. I'm with MuleBall. He wasn't impressive. I was hoping he'd still be playing at Central.

Yep. You're basically not getting even 2 years out of talent that should be at a higher level now. It's contributed to the reduction of quality of play within the division. Every division is level set annually now with ease of player mobility and funding available.

It has the most QB yardage friendly offense, but requires the right QB to run it. It takes a super quick thinking creator with high arm talent. Omolo is a bad fit for it. Maybe he could get there, but he isn't there now. It's exacerbated by the fact that the UCM D is absolute garbage.

I too wished he would be their QB next year, but mainly because he's a bad fit. Put him in a more balanced or slightly run heavy O with a decent D, and I think he could become an asset.

His numbers are quite impressive once you realize he didn't have the stats from playing Emporia like everyone else.

I think Pitt is trying to make an MIAA all star team through the portal. I think they have grabbed players from 3 teams so far.
