Heard a crazy stat last night…UO had 55 4/5 star recruits on their roster while UI only had 8…but they have a former D2 HC/assistants so that evened things out😎

When the portal first became a thing, I envisioned D2 schools basically becoming what JuCos used to be and here we are.

The other thing I speculated about was D2 schools becoming basically minor league partners for D1 schools. With players being promoted or relegated within the multi school system. I could maybe even see teams running the same schemes and philosophies to straight up develop players. I wonder if we will see this happen?

I think the A and M system is the closest to being set up for this.

D2 window basically opened the whole year 'round (like the Jelly of the month club!). So another round of departures and adds after spring ball and then again during the summer.
