that Could change this year with the NPI being the selector and no longer using a committee.
You are probably right about that. They had a bad loss to a team they should have beat. I think they would have been in without that loss.

Now if that 2nd loss was to a ferris or a utpb or something, they may have had a leg to stand on.

I think their schedule gives them any leg up on a second place GAC team unless they finish 10-1 or something.

I have a weird feeling this might be the year where the LSC is mediocre and may only have 1 team represented in the playoffs.

Hopefully its a D2 school. It looks like there are several schools out east that still need games so hopefully they get something worked out.

Conference Carolina's released their conference schedule.

It would be a long trip either way but looks like UNC-Pembroke has an opening for week 9.

Valdosta could have that same opening week 9 as well.

It's an interesting play by them. To go to ft worth to play a transitioning D2 team and only have four home games next season.

I honestly don't think it will be. Cause our 27 is still in the air we won't get a home and home. And they haven't scheduled a homecoming so they kind of like the garuntee wins on homecoming

                    Bad news:

West Florida is expected to make an announcement that they are going D1.

Question is if they are doing it this year or 2027.

NE State may need to find 2 games.

                    Good news:

I think there are still teams out there that might travel for a home game.

Ft. Lewis is still looking for a game.

Fort Lewis might be one of the worst teams in D2 football... So, I guess there's your "easy win" for NSU.

This would force NE State's hand to find a D2 school for that 11th game if this move is for 2026 and no longer counts as a D2 game as NE State would be in the same spot as last year with only 8 D2 games.

They did beat Adams State (winless) and played Black Hills, SD Mines, and Mesa tough.

That being said it should be a game that NE State wins comfortably.

I did see where the RMAC has a weird scheduling quirk where every team has a bye week at the same time so that may not happen unless Ft. Lewis moves their bye week to the beginning of the season.

after the way they acted after the game last season, we will not be playing them again anytime soon. our AD said under no circumstances would he allow them back on our feild with the current leaders at NSU

Listen if we can't make the playoff with this schedule then we don't have a chance as an independent to ever make the playoff. Lol

I'm kind of at a loss to be honest with you what's happening because when they added all those sports kind of looks like they were positioning themselves to take a run at the glvc. Which I would actually like but I just can't see that going down.

They wouldn't join the GAC unless they had a partner. And I don't see anybody around who wants that. I can't see them joining the lone Star unless the lone Star kicks out Central Washington and Western Oregon. Is the lone Star just added Texarkana who's going to start football in a season or two.

This obsession with everybody playing each other is what's holding everything up. Maybe we can go back to MIAA and not have to go around silo. But like I said over 10 years ago who cares who wins the conference it's about getting into the playoffs

if your team is now full of the type of BS we saw last season, noone will allow you in. there is most certainly money flowing in from somewhere to get that roster put together. havent seen that many gangs signs on the feild to the crowd since the 80s miami teams.
